What it is
The Electric Partnership Program (EPP) improves the electric efficiency of low-income households by performing free in-home audits and installing appropriate electric energy-efficiency measures.
The program can replace refrigerators and freezers that are energy inefficient and install energy-saving items like efficient light bulbs — permanently lowering your monthly bill rather than just helping with one payment.
Good to know
- If you’re not eligible for PIPP Plus you may still be able to apply for EPP through a separate application — ask us.
- If you have a shut-off notice, apply for Emergency HEAP at the same time.
- CEI customers may qualify under slightly easier rules (3 months residency, no PIPP requirement).
