What it is
Choosing the right school for a child is one of a parent’s most important jobs. Ohio gives your family choices in education through the EdChoice Scholarship, which helps pay tuition at participating private schools — including Jewish day schools across Greater Cleveland.
Since Ohio’s expansion of the program, eligibility is income-based rather than school-based, and most families qualify for at least a partial scholarship, with larger awards at lower incomes.
How to apply
Applications run through your school’s admissions or scholarship coordinator, backed by income documentation. Renewals happen every year.
How Gesher helps
We help families gather the right income documentation (especially for self-employment income, which trips up many applications), coordinate with school administrators, and make sure siblings’ applications are aligned.
