As a senior citizen you have substantial financial and legal rights — but knowing them, and enforcing them, is no easy task. Pro Seniors, a nonprofit founded in 1975, provides free legal and long-term care help to older adults across Ohio.
Their staff attorneys handle:
- Problems getting your pension, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other benefits
- Identity theft and scams targeting seniors
- Nursing home, adult care facility and home health care problems (long-term care ombudsman)
- Referrals to reduced-fee private attorneys when needed
