Reminder: HEAP applications and Winter Crisis are seasonal — don't wait

A reminder as we head through the heating season:

Regular HEAP (the one-time heating credit) runs November 1 through March 31. Applications after the deadline wait until next winter.
Winter Crisis / Emergency HEAP can help immediately if you have a shut-off notice, have been disconnected, or are below a quarter tank of fuel.

Our staff are trained in HEAP processing with direct access to the state system — in most cases we can submit and confirm your application in a single appointment. Bring your current gas and electric bills, photo ID, Social Security cards for the household, and 90 days of income.
